WCH is highly regarded as a centre for research. As one of South Australia's major teaching hospitals, the WCH works with all three South Australian universities in the training of hundreds of health professionals each year.
The Hospital forms part of the Women's and Children's Health Network, one of five health networks in South Australia.
The Neurology Department provides tertiary level medical diagnostic and treatment services for children with neurological disorders. Their mission is to provide contemporary, patient-focussed clinical care and diagnostic services for children and adolescents with neurological disorders, in an equitable and timely manner.
